Hey kids,

It's been a while. I've been carrying 3 jobs for the last little while which, needless to say, doesn't leave a lot of time for art. But I'm trying to change that. I want to force some photography time in. I won't set any minimums or time limits in stone or anything - just promise myself that I'll pick the camera up a little more.

I've been getting some photography gigs, which is nice. I just did some photography for the local Air Cadets - just a class-photo sort of thing - one by one, and then a group shot. And a friend of a friend just hired me to do her wedding in early August. The whole thing sounds really great with that wedding. She's totally laid back, and the whole thing is outdoors at a beautiful lake a couple of hours away from here.

On top of that, my sort of wedding photograph idol, Gil Fenn ([link]) has agreed to let me shadow him for a wedding or two, which will be awesome. There's some potential that he'll allow me to be a paid assistant for some time in August as well, which would be nice.

All that to say, I'm getting photography work, but not a lot of time to do my own personal photography. I'm going to keep trying!
